This is a great appetizer that is super easy to make, increase ingredients for larger parties – this recipes serves 3-4.
2 Medium-Large Tomatoes
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
5 shakes Minced Dried Garlic
1/2 White Onion
1/2 tbsp Basil
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Crostinis (see below instructions)
Dice tomato and onions. Mix in bowl with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic, and basil. Stir up mixture and serve cold on crostinis.
For the crostinis:
Buy a skinny baguette or loaf of french bread. Slice into thin pieces and place on a greased pan. Broil in the oven for 3-4 minutes on High. Be very careful while broiling them, a few seconds too long and they could burn.
