The perfect salad for the perfect citrus vinaigrette (see previous post). Refreshing and filling with all the right ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
Sweet Baby Lettuce
1/2 Grapefruit
1 Avocado
1/2 cup Walnuts
1/2 Pound Shrimp
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Cook shrimp on both sides in pan until they are pink, coat with salt and fresh ground pepper. Take out of the pan and store in bowl. In the meantime, slice the grapefruit into chunks and the avocado into long slices. Fill serving bowls with lettuces and top with avocado, grapefruit, shrimp and walnuts. Add fresh ground black pepper to taste. Serve with citrus vinaigrette and voila!
