- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 yellow onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 bag lentils
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- In a medium saucepan cook down the onions and garlic until fragrant and the onions are clear.
- Add lentils, 2 cups of broth, and add water so that the lentils are fully covered.
- Once boiling, cover with the lid and cook until the lentils have softened.
- Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
