• 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 bag lentils
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper


  • In a medium saucepan cook down the onions and garlic until fragrant and the onions are clear.
  • Add lentils, 2 cups of broth, and add water so that the lentils are fully covered.
  • Once boiling, cover with the lid and cook until the lentils have softened.
  • Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
