Brown Sugar Baby Carrots (5 out of 5 stars)

I’ve been trying to perfect this side for a wall, but my sweetened carrots have always fallen short.  At last I have finally found the perfect combination of sugar and butter.


  • 3 small bags Baby Carrots
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of Pepper


  1. Add carrots to a pot of boiling water.  Cook until they reach your desired level of softness/hardness.  Drain all the water from the pot.
  2. On low heat add the 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tbsp of butter and pinch of salt.  Stir well as the ingredients melt.  Once no chunks of sugar are left visible and the butter is fully melted stir and serve.

Voila!  An easy fix to a dull side.
