Salmon Remastered (5 Stars)

I don’t know about you, but every time I’ve had salmon in a restaurant it seems to fall victim to the same seasoning every time and it normally involves butter, dill and maybe a little lemon. While these ingredients can be nice, they also don’t do salmon its justice.  Enter: soy sauce, honey and (my favorite ingredient) garlic! To top it all off, for those of you on Weight Watchers this is actually from their online recipe vault clocking in at 6 points.

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce (I prefer Kikkoman)

1/4 Cup Honey

3 Spoonfuls of Minced Garlic

2-4 Pieces of Salmon (depending on how many you are feeding)

DIRECTIONS:

In a pan, mix the soy sauce, garlic, and honey.  Cook on low until it is on the verge of boiling – but do not allow to fully boil.  Add salmon to the pan and use a spoon to coat the top of the salmon with the soy honey sauce and garlic.  Cook for 7-8 minutes max.  If not it will dry out the salmon.  Serve with the excess sauce in a bowl – trust me you will want to put the excess sauce on everything.

RATING: 5 out of 5 Stars
