Nana’s white bean crock pot recipe is fast, easy, and comes mostly from the spice cabinet.  If you want to throw in fresh herbs, onions, and chives feel free to try.

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 to 1 1/4 cups white beans
2 Bayleaf
1 cube beef bouillon
2  tbsp.  dried chopped onion
1 tsp dried minced garlic
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper (add too much will be really spicy)
1 pinch dried thyme
 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
 1 1/2 tsp dried minced green onion
 Sausage (recommendation: Richard’s Smoked Sausage)
DIRECTIONS:
Put all ingredients in the crock pot and cook all day on low. When you get home check them to see if they are cooked.
