Fontina Burger

This recipe uses our award winning burger patty as the base with some wonderful basil mayo and fontina cheese! Absolutely delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Burger Buns
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Worsterschire
  • 1 pack onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic – minced
  • 2 oz Fontina Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Mayo
  • 1 bunch Rosemary – finely chopped
  • 1 bunch Basil – finely chopped
  • 4 tbsps butter

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix onion soup mix, panko breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt and pepper into ground beef Form into patties and set aside to rest
  2. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, basil, the juice of the remaining lemon wedges, and up to half the garlic paste. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Now it is time to make the patties! Using a spoon, put a small dent in the top so they don’t puff up too much while cooking.
  4. Put 4 tbsps of butter into a pan with 1 clove of minced garlic and the rosemary on medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until desired level of wellness.
  5. Once they are almost done, place the fontina cheese on top so it melts on top the patties in the pan.
  6. Coat inside of buns in the basil mayo and serve!
