This recipe uses our award winning burger patty as the base with some wonderful basil mayo and fontina cheese! Absolutely delicious!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb ground beef
- Burger Buns
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worsterschire
- 1 pack onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic – minced
- 2 oz Fontina Cheese
- 1/4 cup Mayo
- 1 bunch Rosemary – finely chopped
- 1 bunch Basil – finely chopped
- 4 tbsps butter
DIRECTIONS:
- Mix onion soup mix, panko breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt and pepper into ground beef Form into patties and set aside to rest
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, basil, the juice of the remaining lemon wedges, and up to half the garlic paste. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Now it is time to make the patties! Using a spoon, put a small dent in the top so they don’t puff up too much while cooking.
- Put 4 tbsps of butter into a pan with 1 clove of minced garlic and the rosemary on medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until desired level of wellness.
- Once they are almost done, place the fontina cheese on top so it melts on top the patties in the pan.
- Coat inside of buns in the basil mayo and serve!
