Nana’s Sugared Pecans

Great for a snack or a salad topper, these sugared pecans always hit the spot!

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pecans
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt in one bowl.
  • In a second bowl whisk egg white and water until frothy.
  • Toss pecans in egg white mixture.
  • Mix sugar mixture into pecan mixture.
  • Bake 1 hour, stir/toss every 15 minutes until brown.
